Hi merm people! I’m inspired once again to do my own version of “bullet fridays” as done by Tim Ferris.
Here’s a bit about what’s going on in my world this week and what I’m reading/listening to/learning/discovering:
Song I’m Listening To:
Only Hope from A Walk to Remember. This song is soo good and Natalie Weiss’ cover is fire.
I’ve been singing a lot at the open mics at my work and am falling back in love with singing & performing and reminding myself that I am a singer!!
Book I’m Reading:
Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid – finished this in one day! It was so well written, I felt like I was watching a movie in my head.
Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott – this has been on my list for awhile and I’m so happy I’m finally reading it. So many insights about being a creative person, writing, & life.
Lesson I’m Learning:
I’m truly learning how to step into my power lately and really discern between what is meant for me and what is not meant for me.
I feel like I am falling more and more in alignment with my purpose and path and am learning how to let go, trust the universe, and surrender and give up any ideas of what I think it should look like or trying to control the outcome.
I truly believe that life is meant to be so so easy and our egos try to make it so hard.
So, I’m learning to let go and do my only job which is to trust, be, and just take the next step.
I don’t have to worry or try to control or stress or any of that.
I am so taken care of and am on my path.
Artist I’m Rediscovering:
Norah Jones – I don’t know why I ever forgot her but her stuff is so good. Loving her music lately.
What I’m Sharing:
